A Heartwarming Tale of Love Is Told During Fiddler on the Roof
Audiences across North America are toasting to a new production of Fiddler on the Roof. Rich with musical hits you know and love, including “Tradition”, “Sunrise, Sunset”, and “If I Were a Rich Man,” Fiddler on the Roof is the heartwarming story of fathers and daughters, husbands and wives, and life, love and laughter.
Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.
Based on the original staging by Jerome Robbins and featuring a talented cast, lavish orchestra and stunning movement and dance from Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter, Fiddler on the Roof will introduce a new generation to the uplifting celebration that raises its cup to joy, love and life!
